I regret going to this clinic after reading the positive reviews online. My cat had been seeing Dr. Lin for some time, at least once or twice a week for a while. At first, my cat's condition was under control, but later on, my cat started vomiting and refusing to walk. I never expected Dr. Lin to tell me that my cat was just lazy when I asked why my cat didn't want to walk. I regret not questioning him at that time. A week later, my cat's vomiting increased, and he refused to eat. I went for a follow-up visit, and only then did Dr. Lin notice that something was wrong with my cat, but he didn't know what it was. We had to wait for a specialist to take an X-ray.
Since there were no specialists at the Asia-Pacific Animal Hospital, we had to wait a long time for an appointment with a specialist. I found another specialist clinic just to get a quick answer to help my cat. I planned to return to Dr.Lin after knowing what problem my cat was suffering because he had been following up with my cat, so I kept the booking at Asia-Pacific. The nurse from Asia-Pacific called to confirm my subsequent booking, saying that they would transfer the medical records to the other clinic if the doctor approved it. She also reminded me several times that the follow-up would be considered as a new case and would be charged differently. It is ironic that, the next day, the nurse called to cancel all the subsequent booking, saying that my cat had transferred to another clinic and had to wait until my cat was done with that clinic. I don't know if it's the clinic's rule or Dr. Lin's pettiness. You decide it.
What saddens me is that when I was so worried and confused about my cat's illness, the clinic only cared about money and accused me of taking up their booking. I regret believing in Asia-Pacific again and again. I should never have chosen Asia-Pacific at the beginning. Their service attitude is poor, and their professional knowledge is lacking. The nursing staff made many mistakes. The only reasons I stayed at that clinic were because of its convenient location and because Dr. Lin had been following up with my cat. But that only resulted in one of the biggest regrets of my life, feeling like I had personally sent my cat to his death. Later on, I found out that professional clinics are really different - doctors are friendly, and nursing staff are professional and meticulous. They also comfort your emotions. My other pets are having their checks in this clinic rather than Asia-Pacific, and we will never visit Asia-Pacific again!
I urge everyone to think twice before choosing Asia-Pacific, or else you will regret it for a lifetime.
