DO NOT TRUST THEM!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Our 12 year old toy poodle in good health had a slight ear infection and was prescribed AURIZON ear drops by Dr Edwin Chiu and dosage was 10 drops per ear. We used them for 2 days and immediately noticed a change in our dogs hearing. Normally he would bark if the doorbell rang but he was no longer doing this and was motionless on the carpet, totally unaware. We have now realised he is completely deaf in both ears! We stopped the drops and then googled the AURIZON ear drops and see written under side effects that there is an increased chance of deafness in older dogs.

AT NO POINT was this important piece of information verbalised to us by the Dr Edwin Chiu. Later when we went back to inform them what had happened he decided to check the small print of the medication and saw the same vital statement. If we have known there would have been a risk to our dog we would NEVER had given him these drops. Online there are various forums where owners discuss the same horrifying issues of their healthy dogs going deaf.

This is pure negligence on this Veterinary practice and Dr Edwin Chiu. Considering the vast amount of money we have spent over the years we are appalled at what has happened to a member of our family.

QUESTION EVERYTHING THEY GIVING YOUR PETS AS THERY ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT DOING THERE OWN RESEARCH AND ARE UNAWARE OF THE RISKS OF THE MEDICATION THEY ARE HAPPILY GIVING OUT.
