Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

PET-A-HOOD is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to build and develop the mobile application. This individual will be reporting to our Technical Lead, to support both frontend and backend system development. Our ideal candidate should be a self-motivated team player with strong analytical skills and detail-orientedness.

It would be great if you are an experienced talent who would love to work in this fast-growing pet industry.


  • Design and develop iOS and Android mobile application, web service and backend development
  • Conduct technical system design, development, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Maintain, implement, optimize, and debug any apps components
  • Conduct requirement analysis and documentation
  • Work closely with internal & external parties to collect and analyse their requirements
  • Keep up with current trends in mobile app development industry


  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
  • 3 years' experience on mobile app development is preferred
  • Experience in (Android) Kotlin/Java SDK or (iOS) Objective-C & Swift SDK, ReactNative is preferred
  • Experience in PHP, MySQL is a plus
  • Self-motivated with can do attitude and timely delivery of results
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal & communication skills and team player
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • More experienced candidate will be considered in a senior position

E-commerce & Marketing Internship

About the Role

PET-A-HOOD opens a few E-commerce & Marketing internships for fellow students.


  • Create and organize uploads of product information including text and picture for the PET-A-HOOD website
  • Prepare and execute marketing campaigns to drive engagement, membership of and sales on the PET-A-HOOD website
  • Work closely with internal department to ensure the information is correct and meet the deadlines
  • Perform administrative duties and operational support
  • Maintain and update data on E-commerce platform
  • Handle ad hoc issues assigned by management;


  • Have a passion for Pets
  • A strong eye for detail and precision
  • Year 3 or above university students
  • Excellent skills in MS Office suite of programmes
  • Basic skills in Photoshop, copying writing and AI will be a plus
  • Basic skills in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including analytics, tag will be a plus
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, communication and time management skill
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information System, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or relevant field

E-Commerce and CRM Specialist

About the Role

PET-A-HOOD is seeking a CRM Specialist to support execution of cross-channel communications for our up-and-coming e-commerce platform. Key functions will include driving platform retention, engagement, and usage metrics, via channels including but not limited to email, social and in-browser messages.

Our new CRM Specialist will join a growing team of professionals driving engagement at PET-A-HOOD, and work closely with in-house marketing, product, and creative teams. He/She must demonstrate a strong understanding of our product, identify and address consumer touchpoints and pain points in well-researched manners, and craft messages and campaigns to engage both pet owners and pet-related businesses.


  • Propose, design, and launch CRM campaigns and workflows in collaboration with Marketing and Tech teams
  • Map user journeys and optimise campaigns for funnel conversion
  • Drive platform retention, loyalty, engagement, and usage metrics for PET-A-HOOD products and services
  • Support analysis and enhancement of CRM campaigns
  • Execute A/B tests and own analysis of results to ensure maximum impact and effectiveness
  • Devise ways to improve usage of the CRM platform by automatic basic, everyday tasks
  • Pulling reports from the CRM platform into data visualisation tools
  • Meeting with other stakeholders and teams to analyse industry trends and tailor CRM campaigns to meet business objectives
  • Assess and plan data points to integrate with CRM platform


  • Have a passion for Pets
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Information System, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in E-commerce or retail business
  • Expertise and proven experience in CRM software (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, Marketo)
  • Ability to integrate CRM platform with internal data visualisation platforms and customer data platforms (CDPs)
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including analytics, tag implementation, conversion tracking
  • Excellent skills in MS Office suite of programmes
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in building email templates via HTML
  • Experience in copywriting and/or design a plus
  • A strong eye for detail and precision
  • Self-directed learning attitude and strong sense of ownership

Business Development Executive

About the Role

PET-A-HOOD is seeking a Business Development Executive to support acquisition targets for assigned vertical via developing sales opportunities.

Our new Business Development Executive will join a growing team of professionals driving acquisitions of members and pet merchants/partners.


  • Achieve monthly set acquisition targets for assigned vertical via developing sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including but not limited to, referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings
  • Diligently follow up until you close sales opportunities to build and maintain a lasting relationship with decision makers
  • Clearly communicate PET-A-HOOD’s brand value to business partners and negotiate profitable deals to access their inventory
  • Closely monitor competitor and industry trends, ensuring that PET-A-HOOD’s value proposition for both customers and partners is second-to-none


  • Have a passion for Pets
  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, Business Management or Marketing is preferred
  • Previous work experience (Ideally 2-3 years) in a Business Development or equivalent role, ideally in a high-growth environment, E-commerce industry
  • Good understanding of the pet industry and strong industry networks
  • Highly effective communication and influencing skills with fluency in local language as well as English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to help liaise, cooperate and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Proactively seek innovative opportunities to drive sales
