Island Kennel Academy x Petisan Pet Dog Training - The Complete Course

This course is a 3-month courseis designed for pet dog guardians. It includes 10+ hours of hands-on guided training to help you apply what you learn in lectures. Weekly meetings and assignments, knowledge and practical application assessments will ensure you are equiped with essential knowledge and skills by the end of the course. You will also be receiving a certificate of completion signed by a certified trainer.

Event Detail:

Venue: The Annex / Petisan, The Mills, 45 Pak Tin Par St, Tsuen Wan

Date and time: Apr 13 to Jun 29, Every Thursday 19:30 - 21:30 weekly

Open to: Pet Dog Owners & Prospective Dog Owners

Fee: $16000, 30% discount for early bird until March 19

Course duration: 3 months (20+hrs lecture 10+hrs hands-on)

Course Modules:

  • Making the perfect match: Identifying the ideal canine companion.
  • Canine development phase and training: How to help the dog adapt to your lifestyle, and essential trainings.
  • Speaking canine: Canine communication and body language.
  • Prevention, Management and Modifying common pet dog “undesirable” behaviors.
  • Essential Obedience training

Sebastian Alcaraz CPDT-KA is one of 13 certified dog trainers in HK accredited by CCPDT

  • Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers.

This course is also the prerequisite for the Dog Trainer Course (additional modules).
